Close thread , we are safe , give hodgson another year
“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder |

I honestly think Southampton and Leicester are looking for company in their misery.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Whilst we are increasingly looking like we will comfortably avoid the drop let's not lose sight of the fact that our 3 wins under Hodgson have been against the current bottom two teams and one that is 16th and in real danger. All three of those teams are where they are for a reason - they aren't that good. We have another such team (Everton) next game and we need to put them away as well. After that we won't find either Wolves or West Ham quite so obliging as our last 3 victims have been.

Their massive, stupid naive error was thinking they could compete in the Premier League with highly rated youth players without any integration period. Livramento & KWP anyone?

This season strikes me as one with just ridiculous recruitment strategies that have really done clubs over. Southampton, Forest and Chelsea have been worse off for their investment.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |
