The way I read this telegraph article on this is that The disciplinary offence is the filming and releasing of the material that is being investigated, not the shouting itself.

I have zero issues with this being filmed.....how it came to be publicly available though might be a disciplinary matter. However, that isn't what bothers me. Look at the attitude of the Mirror towards this story.....and Lord Dannat, the former head of the Army. The cultural zeitgeist in this country is pathetic.

I'm sorry but this just complete bollocks,so what happens if she is a war zone and her battle group is under fire...is she going to sit there blabbing while her mates get killed. God f***ing help us. As a lot of you know my son is a serving infantryman,(who is also a battle group leader),I know I wouldn't be happy if she was in his group.

This is exactly why women were never used as front-line soldiers in the past. If they want equality, they take the sh*t that goes with it or get out!

It's the Dirty Harry syndrome. Society wants the Army to do the dirty work for it, but then criticizes when their behaviour doesn't fit in with civilian life.
