Given our current attacking style of football do we have a real go or sit back and play on the break like burnley did Either way going to be difficult but having a go seems best option to me

We'll play our normal formation, the one that only exists in Pardew's head (because the players don't seem to understand it either). It has something to do with playing off the front foot and not being concerned about conceding goals. We'll lose 2-5 and Pardew will big up the opposition afterwards and say how pleased he was with the way we played.

We are not going to change to much the standard 4-2-3-1. AP has enough trouble coaching that let alone change it for City. Truth is that if we catch them on a good day and we carry on making mistakes it could be a massacre.

Almost certainly counter-attacking. We're up against one of the best attacking, goal scoring teams we'll face this season, and we're giving away gifts to attackers. If we 'have a go' we will get royally f**ked. We need to think in terms of defending in numbers, plugging up the midfield, and using the pace of Zaha and Townsend on the break to feed off of Beneteke, or provide into him. And not f**k about at corners and Free kicks, put it in the box, and look for a header. We're up against it, but we have beaten them in recent seasons. I don't expect to win it however, but a draw would be a free point for us. And don't get anyone banned for the next week.

I have no faith in manager or the team anymore. I'd predict 2-0 City before with Jedinak in the side to bully them and make it difficult for them to get 2 goals. With this lot they'll score 3 goals through class and 2 goals through our mistakes. We won't score. Given up on this season of 'transition' already. Sucks when you pay so much for a season ticket and it's effectively over by November.
