I have been busy so am only just reading the reports, which are still incomplete. One I read described the assailant as "black". We obviously must wait for more information as that is just one reported statement.

Does all sound to me as someone losing the plot or even psychosis/drug related however could be terrorism. Struggle to envisage what else.

To speculate, as I am, there has been trouble several times in Nottingham. There has been open radicalisation at mosques. There were lecturers at the University who were radicalising students. There has been a history of attacks and reprisals. Nottingham was the gun crime capital of England for some time. There are poor relations between 'minority' communities (are they really a minority anymore?). And poor relations between religions (Indian, pakistani and African problems imported - I'm not talking crusades). There are loads of no go areas on estates around the city. It's a decent place, my sister lives there, but gone so far downhill these last twenty/thirty years as to be unrecognisable. At one time, Nottingham was THE place to go out. Certainly not anymore - although it is largely ok.

If they are white then clearly part of a much wider and all encompassing Far-Right terror group who pose an immediate threat to public safety, with hours of political insight and column inches to prove just how dangerous free speech is.

If not, then clearly mental illness. And let's not keep harking on about it, ok? Just plain racism if you have the audacity to even THINK about discussing this in public after tomorrow. Probably your fault in the first place due to your privilege and imperialism.
