I read that at Palace home games, supporters may be randomly checked to see if they are double vaccinated, or have had a negative Covid test
Can anyone confirm this ?
If so it seems like Palace have brought this in very quietly.

Not just Palace, every EPL side, mentioned by the powers that be before the start of the season, whether it happens is a different matter.

 

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Wish people would stop using the abbreviation EPL !

It is the PL, pure and simple .. and avoids confusion with the inferior EFL

you know what…if somebody has been offered both jabs and wont have them (apart from medical reasons) then f*** ‘em they shouldnt be allowed into a confined enviroment like a football stadium.

seems perfectly fair to me

To be honest, the country decided against going that far and whilst I think it's madness to not have the jabs, some people aren't educated enough to know the pros and cons and some may genuinely be terrified. That's why having the option to have a negative PCR exists as an alternative, so as to not infringe on someone's choice to decline it.

Why anywhere wouldn't mandate one or the other (and why anyone would oppose one or the other) however is completely beyond me.

needles either.

but why should anybody who isnt going to help beat covid be able to enjoy the perks of trying to get rid of it?

There's been 113 deaths since Jan the 1st for people under 50 from covid, why am I going to waste my time getting a vaccine that has 0.00019% chance of killing me ?

Do you test yourself score going to football? If not, how confident are you that you’re not a carrier in the first 5 days of incubation with only some vaccine protection, that doesn’t last anyway? This is the stupidity of vaccine and mask obsessed people. Best off to just get a proper FFP3 mask rather than shove your responsibility and risk onto others. It’s the only thing you can really rely on.

Not sure we're you figure came from but according to the gov web site over 700 people under 50 have died since jan 2/3 we're unvaccinated.
