"I've never, ever been on a set where they have childcare." She added: "But I've been on lots of sets where lots of people have very young children." Err, why don't you all club together and hire someone between you then? They hired you, not your kids.

They exist to moan and complain....not do.

Why not get her husband/partner/father of said children to look after them when she is on set?

I'm in Spain at the moment and on Monday night logged on to bbc.co.uk and was diverted to the overseas website where there was no mention of the budget at all

Today's social justice stories on the BBC home page: 'From Syria to Cambridge University'. Usually 2-3 of these types of immigrant stories a month. 'Davis on why the acting world is still racist'. The acting world consists almost entirely of liberals and leftists. But why not use a clip about her new movie instead? 'The black history you might not learn at school'. And of course the obligatory anti-Trump story: 'Protests as Trump visits massacre scene'. In the piece it says "Some Jewish figures and Pittsburgh's Democratic Mayor Bill Peduto opposed the presidential visit." No surprise the Democrat opposed the visit and the Jewish figures have not been named in the article. The writer fails to mention that the Tree of Life synagogue rabbi Jeffrey Myers said Trump was actually welcome to visit... Funny that. Finally, 'What should I do with my broken kettle?' Edited by Penge Eagle (31 Oct 2018 11.22am) I am currently watching a BBC documentary about black people in cinema. It is quite interesting especially about the early days when black actors really did struggle. Where I take issue is the current crop who moan about how hard it is (whilst banking their millions). Don Cheadle summed it up for me "Hollywood is only interested in one colour, green". Money is everything, the so called top actors are paid the most because they put bums on seats. Hollywood doesn't care if they are black or female or just lousy actors give the public what they want. In this program Hollywwod gets a lot of flack when really it is only reflecting the viewing tastes of the wider society. You can blame the public if we don't see enough ethnic / women lead actors. However would you put £200m into a movie that is socially relevant and nobodies watches? As usual actors of all colours are very quick to spend someone else's money. I said about Black Panther if it is a hit they will make more and it has been. Stand by for more black superhero characters. ]Meanwhile back on topic I was disturbed not to find a positive life affirming transgender story today. The BBC really is slipping up. It’s difficult to know where to start with the BBC It’s the 3 ring circus of the oppression olympics driven on a total wave 2 feminist ideology. Drip feeding and normalising to young people stories of moderate muslims on motorbikes, trannies on trampolines, rape culture, gender pay gaps, etc. Basically middle class people that control the media and arts and live next door to me in west London and other areas of the country where anything that they would call culture is the antithesis of the historical culture of this Island. The sad thing is they are well meaning, all powerful and totally deluded in their Kath Kidson world. The BBC probably regularly represents at most (and I would argue very badly) about 15 percent of the population. The thing that gets me the most is that I grew up in a racist, sexist and homophopic world and that battle I believe was won years ago (although I think there will always be some latent leftover if this). What we are seeing now is very different and worrying. censorship, deplatforming, open racism against white people, ideological indoctrination, virtue signalling. Ultimately this is not good for anyone except radical Muslims who want to bring the whole thing crashing down anyway. By the way, I have nothing generally bad to say about any minority in this country other than some of the the middle/chattering classes and radical Muslim ideology. The fact that ‘some of my best friends are...” has been hijacked as a sign of racism is a sure sign that we on a path to s***sville. Speak out. We all need to spread the risk.

'Israeli 'Freedom is basic' niqab advert criticised' [Link] Is this activism or journalism? And the BBC is quick to pour scorn on the campaign to get black voters to leave the Democrat party. What a surprise. 'What America's 'Blexit' gets wrong about history' [Link] Still no reporting on Hillary Clinton saying all black people look the same this week... Edited by Penge Eagle (31 Oct 2018 11.27pm) That Blexit piece is astonishing. Basically confirming that some facts on the Blexit website are correct and then adding some reasons as to why these BBC “journalists” think these facts shouldn’t matter. At best it’s highly patronising to your audience to suggest they can’t make up their own minds. At worse it’s just propoganda for a specific ideology that a lot of people don’t share.
