So what are they protesting about exactly?

If jeremy still owns his 7 bedroom mansion in Shropshire..why they haven't been given that to the needy.

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.

Anti Austerity and Anti-immigrant attacks.

Bare in mind most are students who fit in to the Tax allowance scheme for their part time job.

Would female attendees to a 'day of rape' demonstration be 'asking for it'?

Interesting that "Day of Rage" is a phrase originally coined by Hamas. Always helpful to know where the march organisers are drawing their inspiration from.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Maybe they will get Banksy out to paint men in balaclavas on some buildings.

Is this actually happening?

All i can find is right wing papers frothing at the mouth about how it will inevitably descend in to riots, and very little that actually looks like a big protest.

I'm therefore guessing the next info from it will be about one person kicking over a bin, followed by close ups of the bin, grainy footage of someone in a balaclava, under the headline 'chaos on our streets'.

If punk ever happened I'd be preaching the law, instead of listenin to Lydon lecture BBC4

Interesting that considering Hamas were founded in the 80's it seems strange you say they originally coined it when it's already been written on this thread that it was first used in anti Vietnam war protests in Chicago earlier than this.
