I can't believe there would be negative reviews on TripAdviser about that hotel and any others and they are still there online! Surely SOMEONE would have taken offence by a comment?

Now you come to mention it i do recall somewhere in the far distant past tha Mexican Transgender lefties were involed or oppressed.

A hate crime is a crime motivated by intolerance to an individual origin, ethnicity, gender etc. So there'd have to be a crime in the first place. Speaking is not a crime, but committing violence is.

Also, an ethnic group cannot make a defamation claim, only individuals and would have to prove their reputation has been harmed in court.

I do know what hate speech is, thank you. But in the context of what the poster said, it is not hate speech! As far as I'm aware, the poster did not even speak to the said group of people! You and the others on the far Left want to police our language under the 'catch all' Hate Speech law. You may be a Scottish prick, but do I breach the law?
