As happy as I am with us every year we stay up. Is staying up by goal difference really acceptable given the team we have?

When did we stay up by goal difference ? Stop stating bulls*** as fact to try and prove your point.

Just asking because you seem to imply that just because my ilk can't
suggest an alternative, our view regarding Pardew's ability is invalid.

This is still a bit weird though. Like all those that moan about player x, y or z as not being good enough but don't come up with viable alternatives. What to do then? Play with 8 men?

I'd take the season finishing tomorrow just to be on the safe side mate! LOL

Let's just stick to facts rather than hyperthetcal points otherwise things get clouded. Here's a fact?! Check out how many wins we've had in the league in 2016!!' Just a thought ...

Right, I'm off! See ya!

Why do you have to make it seem like you are looking forward to it though??

Surely if you were positive in Pardew you'd tell me I was talking rubbish and that what I'm suggesting won't be the case! Instead you infer that I'm looking forward to the inevitable! I rest my case ...

Just an observation not a criticism btw. And I would have hoped my use of certain emojis conveyed my tone but alas not ... so sorry for any confusion there

It's short lived mate as I then realise it's only October and look at the fixture list ...

No mate, I agree with ya 100% but can't be bother arguing with people on here anymore. I'll wait to pick up the argument again this time next month when nothing has improved and see what they say then!

I was exactly the same mate. Disappeared long ago from this site and contemplated the whole thread but as stated just realised I didn't really give a s*** about the abuse anymore.

Oh not at all. I infer that you believe this will be inevitable and will be pleased to remind us of it after the event. (emojis notwithstanding ). Whilst I am not an ardent supporter of Pardew, I happen to believe that your criticism is over zealous - although not to the same extent as the OP who gives the impression he would be more than happy to see a contract onAP before he is offered a new one!

That's where your wrong. I'd love more to be utterly embarrassingly proved wrong, more than anything. Its actually more a case of I strongly believe I won't be.

Can we please stop stating that anyone who doesn't like the manager hopes we lose. It's bulls***, we support the same club whether your ashamed of that or not.

I think sometimes it's the vehemency of the argument that can lead to that impression. I know it's BS as we are all Palace fans in our different ways. I'd be more interested to know how you manage CPFC with your glass half empty though? For me, my day to day is such that I need to at least keep the football positive!
