Remainers are the saddest most desperate people. Claiming a victory because all the other so called Remain parties got more votes combined than The Brexit Party. Ha ha ha. Too funny.

Hasn’t stopped Southern type Labour Emily Thornberry droning on about it as usual on BBC 1 tonight. I think they’ll make that decision as well. Yes and no. At first I thought she was pushing for Labour to back Remain but then I realised that she is just sticking to the same old, same old. Which makes sense. Labour are not that bothered about the EU elections. All they are focused on is a GE. And the results in so far from the NE and Midlands, let alone the NW, mean that they simply cannot back Remain in a meaningful way. If they do, then a new Tory leader calls a GE. Boris/Rabb on a no-deal platform. And Labour lose. Again. It is going to be interesting but you can guarantee now that the new Tory leader will be a definite Leaver. It was a pretty safe bet before but now, a nailed on guarantee. Labour, that is a far more messier few weeks and months ahead because Corbyn is going to come under intense internal pressure. He will make noises but has to resist. Dead in the water otherwise.

I am quite sure, stirlingsays, that unlike some people here, you are smart enough to look at these results as a referendum on leaving or staying in the EU. The remain vote is split, whereas the leave vote is much easier to count. What is important here, if one wants to take any value from this whatsoever, is to count up the total votes for leave and remain parties.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |
