Bid incoming with initial talks underway according to ssn. Old quotes from the mail article used though.

With such inside info you'd think they'd have some more recent quotes. This does stink of agent involvement/club trying to unsettle a player/made up boll*cks as sky no longer have the AWB story to get excited about anymore.

What worries me is Arsenal will never stump up the cash that would get anywhere close to compensating the loss of Zaha. So this might just hang around like a fart in a lift until the window closes and skysports news can go back to making up other stories...until January rolls around!

That isn’t an opinion. It’s true. Palace took him on and it’s in his heart but he supported Arsenal. Everyone knows he did.

Who cares who he supported as a kid?

Will you now make excuses for the board if we sell Wilf as well?

If we do such a stupid thing then that will spell the end of my interest on a Saturday. I.m not going to increase my blood pressure needlessly as we get relegated.

Is Alan Mullery available?

If Arsenal or any club Zaha wants to go to offer us the money we’re asking for then that’s life I’m afraid. We will have to do what everyone does and evolve the team.

We’ve only sold Bolasie for big money and then Gayle for about £8-10 mil and Murray for 4 so eventually this will have to happen, especially with our wage bill, which may be deluding people that we really can afford Sakho, Benteke and to keep Zaha on a top 4 wage for 5 seasons.

We are not rich, we have our issues no money to address them.

If he wants to go, we should let him go. The one condition that it is our valuation not some crock of s*** , add on bollocks.

Parrish seems to be getting the run around at the moment by the bigger clubs.

Parish just got 45m + add ons for rb who is not a international and looked hopeless in a recent u21 game. Run around would not be a word if use.

Zaha didn't even get off the bench tonight for Ivory Coast. Seems strange that he cant get game time, even when they're losing.

If Wilf wants to go that's life. However Palace should stick out for 100m

We got a result with up to 50m for AWB. Bearing in mind Zaha is a one off we should hold out for 100m or at least 80m plus add-ons.

You are obviously talking about some other Parish as the Palace chairman drove quite a hard bargain if the media can be believed

Wilf wants Champions League football. Why then would he join Arsenal, they are not in the Champions league????

Arsenal can't afford £80m and they have no one we would want in part exchange.

How do you know, no one knows what the figure or what the stupid add ons are? What I do know is we have lost another good prospect...

Its time for us as a club to stand on our own two feet. Wilf has carried us for three years and it is time for the prodigal son to go and fulfill his dreams. We can still thrive, there are plenty of Prem teams who do well and don't have Wilf in their ranks. Roy will now have to rebuild the squad with some astute signings, it can be done
