Your description of the paper involved with the "exclusive" with Wilf says it all..The Daily Fail.. do you really think that Wilf would be contacting CPFC and "begging" to be released whilst he's involved with playing for the Ivory Coast in the AFCON Cup of Nations.. think he might be otherwise occupied.. I feel this is more typical journo b*llsh*t.. The journo in question is, I believe, an Arsenal fan. His article is merely a wishlist and is utterly bereft of quotes. Arsenal can't even remotely afford it and Wilf has said that he wants Champions League football which he won't get there anyway. And that flushes this bollocks straight down the drain, where it belongs.

Anyone for Ozil? b) Their defence has to be their priority. Maybe, just maybe it isn't about wages at all as you have so cynically suggested. Wilf has already stated on more than one occasion that he wants to test himself on the highest stage, which is European football.

Maybe, just maybe it's journo's and agents talk, Wilf hasn't put in a transfer request, has stated directly that he wants to play champions league, hasn't mentioned arsenal who couldn't give him it anyway. Maybe he wants to play champions league with crystal palace.
