All parties and their MPs have honoured the result! What they haven't yet done is find a satisfactory way to actually exit without causing more damage than they are prepared to accept.

You don't promise to honour a commitment and then, after discovering new information, do something that, in your opinion, would cause more harm than good.

You wouldn't drive your family to Gatwick tomorrow to catch a Thomas Cook flight just because you promised to do so a month ago. You would try to make alternative arrangements that suited the changed circumstances.

You have already used that analogy.....something new perhaps? The MPs have NOT honoured the result however you want to spin it, Wisbech.!

WTF? Thomas Cook no longer exist. The referendum result from June 23rd still stands and the legislation is in place for us to leave. The only changed circumstance is MP's unwilling to honour what they promised.

Fine. Let's have a GE based on that narrative. You either want people to have faith in our system or you do not.

We are a broken country, I think I would be happy now if we just split this country down the middle and went our separate ways.

Obviously that won't happen because remainers wouldn't allow it.

How much? How about 17.4 million votes worth?

I do wish that many on the Remain side would stop hiding behind bulls*** and just have the balls to admit that they want to stop Brexit at all costs.

The establishment and their happy helpers are on the cusp of killing any small hope that people had that democracy was ever anything other than a device to fool the people that they had a say in decision making.

We might just as well move to an unelected body immediately. At least that way we might get people who are good at their jobs.

Not quite yet but it is becoming more and more likely. This is what I truly struggle to understand about Remainers. It is like they are blind to how much anger is out there. As though they are so mypoic in their outlook that they cannot comprehend the simple reality of how the votes on June 23rd were cast. Of how 52 beats 48 in terms of a percentage. And no matter how much caterwauling or dismissing or mocking they want to pour on that, the result stands and is not going away. It has to be honoured.

We have to leave. We should have done so already and if we miss this October 31st deadline then I see no reason why our system of Governance should be given a third chance.

Come November 1st, then we might well be a broken country if a GE has not been called.

We already have that.

Johnson is not elected and the government is a minority currently -43.

A f***ing men. And why I have a modicum of respect for the Lib Dems. Don't get me wrong I loathe any and every one of the f***ers but at least they are no longer wasting our time by trying to pretend they care about the 17.4 million.

They have a simple and clear policy. Revoke A50 and the rest of us can kiss their arses. Kudos for that.

So lets have a GE to remedy that.

I complained loudly about Brown's 'coronation'.

Like millions of others I voted Tony Blair in and I expected him to serve as PM.

The labour parties demise starts there.

The remainers have played a good game, they have defeated the government, they have taken control of most of the political parties, the media is fully behind them

All they need to do is get the majority of the people behind them, but the people aren't as easily led as the rest
