In fairness I think players only don't go on the tours if they are disruptive or flat out refuse to go. there is little benefit to a club saying that a player wont tour, it must drive the price down for a start. He will leave there this summer, whether it's to us I have no idea. Hope so though, he'd be a good addition.

He seems to be looking for a big payday at first I warmed to the idea, but we need a leader in that backline. If he was interested in a move to Palace. He won't of went on the Porto tour. Time to move on I think.

Can't blame a player for going on tour with the team they're contracted to. Also wouldn't blame him if he's being offered first team football at Everton after reading that he's worked well with Ronald before. Very good team there putting together. Just hope somehow we can get this over the line. Otherwise huge spanner in the plans I think. Guess we'd have to re consider Sakho ?

At under half the price of Sakho I suppose that could seem good value? What a crazy market
