As for "Beyond all reasonable doubt", how do you know that a referee brandishing a 'Red' does not go through this thought process and I can only re-iterate that he/she only has one go at seeing an incident and that is in real-time at fast speed. Of course they will get it wrong from time to time but so do players and managers.Interestingly enough, Benteke has hardly been berated on here for missing the penalty which would have given us all the points whereas the focus has been on the referee ! Players errors can affect the livelihood of clubs !!!!
