That may be so for accounting purposes but budgets tend to be mentioned in terms of cash available and payments for players tend to be made over one or two years so as doombear mentioned "where is all of this cash coming from?" Textor or the other new investor?

There seems to be a lot of potential developments with a number of players at the moment. I would guess next week the comings & goings will be a little clearer. You would assume PV would like a settled squad to take on the preseason tour. Start building up some momentum and morale.

I'd be surprised if we're basing any of our forward-planning based on Ferguson being fit for any length of time. He hasn't played more than a game at a competitive level in years.
