It sounds like you're doing your level best to stay healthy which is to be commended. Be well through these tough times. The immune system is a funny thing. Sometimes robust immune systems can become overactive in the face of a threat, so immunosuppresive drugs have their place. They were a game changer for transplants too.

Sure....but at the moment there's an awful lot of people who regard going back to work as a death sentence...for them or family. It's like being at the seaside and tipping your toe in and thinking shark.....Yeah, sure there are sharks out there...but this one only likes old fat diabetics and it's perhaps a good idea that they don't take a dip. No one wants to see that anyway. Edited by Stirlingsays (18 May 2020 9.29pm)

That may have served a purpose for a period of time but is now as much as a problem as anything. People need a more granular perspective on who is at risk and who isn't, and to make decisions based on that.

Hearing a lot of people complain about having to go back to work. I wonder how many people are genuinely concerned, and how many just cant be bothered. The thought had crossed my mind. So many people are being paid by the government that it must be all that impossible to keep track of this stuff. The eventual cost when it is said and done may well lead to a pretty grim time. You wouldn't know it from the stock market though. I know it's forward looking, but how far we have to look until we can tick both health and economic boxes is anyone's guess.

Has it been noticed that Asian and black people seem to be more susceptible in catching covid 19 and also have more chance of being caught breaking lock down rules.

I've heard the DWP are currently employing as many people as they can, gearing up to process claims and fraud claims. Pay out now, chase down claims later. There is plenty of work available at the moment.

I certainly agree that the cultural does factor in.....probably less when compared to the genetic...who knows I doubt we will know definitively for ages. I noted how they were less bothered about the male percentage dying compared to women. It's the Chinese titanic. Then again...women are more important.....well the pretty ones anyway. Yes, there is analysis to support the logic that scientists made a wrong guess at first and those on immunosuppressants may be relatively safe. Like smokers. The big thing is to prevent cytokine storm.

I've read of a few cases of workers put on the government furlough scheme by their employers, being told that unless they also continue to work they'll be let go. If what you say is correct, hopefully they're at the front of the queue.
