Apparently Keane's been sacked at Ipswich and Howe is now being linked with that post. Hopefully this is rubbish though, no official confirmation about Keane yet....Please come to Palace Eddie!!!

Age and playing experience also aren't a massive defining factor. I know we're talking a different league here (no pun intended!) but José Mourinho barely has a playing career to talk of ,and was in his early/mid 30's when he took over at Porto... Did he not have the experience??

The same source everyone raves about but I cant remember the last time he has called something that actually comes off. In fact the majority of the time he is wrong, and the reverse happens so I wouldnt read too much into what he says.
