Quite a few are expecting a reduction though....Essentially he made a misleading statement. I don't know why you are fighting this battle.....it's no big deal...I think he genuinely would like to do something....I'll give him that. Edited by Stirlingsays (26 Jul 2017 1.21am)

Do you moan about the Guardian being for Corbyn? The Mirror being for Corbyn? Newsnight are a bunch of lefties too and I'm having to pay for their bias along with everyone else. It's the marketplace of ideas not some equality seminar. If his ideas are popular they will gain traction. I'm not sure what you want. Edited by Stirlingsays (26 Jul 2017 12.30am)

Some members of Labours front bench clearly thought 'wiping student debt' was Labour Policy: If frontbench members of a party cannot understand their party's policy's correctly, how can the rest of us be expected to do so? Shambles.

Edited by Stirlingsays (26 Jul 2017 1.21am) It is a big deal. If they garnered votes through deceit or stupidity or misinformation then it needs to be addressed. The Bremoaners bang on about how the public were 'misled' over the NHS spending pledge during the referendum. How is this different?

'Labour will reintroduce maintenance grants for university students, and we will abolish university tuition fees'. That is what the labour manifesto actually states. Jeremy Corbyn has been consistent in my view no pledge was made to write-off student debts at all. Will be interesting to see what the next manifesto says hope they come up with something feasible.

That last sentence caused me much mirth and merriment. Thank you.

Shame e freedom of movement. Would have liked to see something at least similar to it, even though I voted for Brexit; I believe people should be given the opportunity in any country. Even if Corbyn was PM, I think Labour would be in a similar mess. A cross party delegation imo is the best way forward. (Sorry, just dusting the Holmesdale.net keyboard off. Hope everyone in the political Holmesdale scene is well)
