They are too blinkered with being more 'socialist' or 'progressive' than their peers to care about the implications of their actions. Also, the HoL 'progressive alliance' seem more interested in being 'vindicated' about their beliefs than the actual outcome of the effects of the politics they promote. What does that tell you?
