I've long been distressed and traumatised by this film, particularly that odious song that is sung so lightheartedly about true, real world issues. DO- A dear a female dear RE- A drop of golden sun MI- A name I call myself FA- A long long way to run I could go on, but it upsets me.
Wrong film, BUT, seriously made me & the 'Trout' L. O. L. Post of the Century?
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Yes, but ultimately the film redeems itself as it highlights the ever present dangers of the far right.

And to highlight how woke hurty words trumps everything else, Life of Brian, which was originally an X, is now a 12A. Swearing, full frontal nudity okay; hurty words that nobody noticed apparently now an outrageous crime.
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

West End Play has a black audience only night. 'The idea of a Black Out night is to say this is a night that we are specifically inviting black people to fill up the space, to feel safe with a lot of other black people in a place where they often do not feel safe.' I agree with him. As as a regular West End Theatre goer it's hell in there and I don't feel safe either. Women spilling their champagne flutes onto you, bloody popcorn, talking all the way through the play, kids kicking the back of your seat and of course the audience being mugged by the promoters over ticket prices. Where the hell are the police when you need them.

Mary Poppins now a PG rather than a U because the old sea captain on the roof uses an old reference to what they used to call a particular African tribe when they were under attack from them. Seeing as I, a 47 yr old, have seen the film a few times and neither noticed the word or still had any idea what it meant than how is it gonna offend or influence young children?! It was banned for a long time in Ireland and I remember a pal of mine having a very healthy sideline in taking copies over there when visiting family
