Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Definitely would've scored. Class striker when fully fit. Shame we brought Cenk in really as means CW probably won't get a look in.

At least hope we do NOT loan him out. 2 "goals" in two games now as a sub - great for cameo appearances last 15-20 minutes of games.

I don't see the logic in letting him go. We have a number of players injured and need every fit player to be involved whether it be on the pitch or coming on to replace tired players. CW also wins a lot of headers and certainly puts himself about.. Originally posted by thai-eagle

I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt for the rest of this season if he is able to be fit. there may well be situations where Roy will want two big men up front and I fancy Wickham alongside Tosun rather than Benteke.

He is better than Benteke. With Tosun, Ayew and Wickham we have enough strikers. I would spend money on a winger and a full back if we actually have any.

I'd fancy a new center forward brought in, who is neither CW or Benteke. And rumor has it there will be one more until the end of the window, with Batshuayi and Milan forward Piatek or CSKA youngster Chalov among the names. Sure, they would cost money. Some cheaper and great option are Robin Quaison (around 10-15 million) or Andrasz Sporar (5-7 million). Can't go wrong with these.

But maybe 2020 will the year he stays fit and starts scoring for us. If that's the case then fabulous - I don't have a preference for who scores them.

Wickham would benefit from a spell on loan to a Championship club. Hopefully playing regularly and getting some match fitness back.
