Was the Crystanbul game lost, same scoreline at halftime.

Roy is taking the blame, but the player knows his own body, he could of said he didnt feel ready to play. End of story nobody would of made him play.

Pretty sure the Liverpool game was 1-0 at half time. Which is a different scenario again.

The Crystanbul game from my memory we still had very offensive players on the pitch, bolasie, Murray, gayle…..Delaney . There was a strong belief at 3-1 we could get something. The energy was very different against Brighton. Every fibre of my being was screaming at Roy not to do it, especially knowing the fixtures laying ahead of us.

It's inconceivable that alternatives haven't been discussed or approached as there have been so many poor performances and results.

The likelihood is that most aren't prepared to stake their reputation an a squad that's not only over reliant on two players but also lacks balance regarding players able to play on the front foot, show any ability to use their body or put their head on a ball.

Having seen the young lads playing a few times now you can make the argument that they are worth a go based on how poor some of the older players have been but it's a reach to say they're they're hugely talented and being ignored.

Willo, As an eminent contributor to Homesdale and judging by your recent comments and mood, which may not be as vitriolic as your suggested outcome in the event of relegation above, but nevertheless shows great concern, who would you hold culpable for our recent decline if it's not one of those you refer to in your comment above?

I am honoured and gratified to be described as an "Eminent contributor" however I do not view myself in such a shining light.I try and add some value to the debate however I am a lustreless dud not gifted with rhetorical panache.

Apropos 'Culpability' I can only reiterate that I will not venture down that path.
Thank you.

Everytime I read the word 'panache' I think of David Niven.

Crystanbul had Pullis as manager, and he didn't make a substitution until the 65th min

IMHO Roy should not have taken charge of the Chelsea game, Paddy should have taken over temporarily from Roy, with Darren Powell, Roy is like watching a man dying in quicksand, has been first class but isn't now

Pulis put Gayle on at 65 mins and Murray at 71 mins and changed the team shape.
The two of them linked brilliantly with Gayle scoring twice and nearly scoring a winner.
We really went for it.
Can anybody really suggest that Hodgson would do something so bold?
I can't recall him going two up top, even when we're losing.
One of my most bizarre experiences this season was the Spurs home game which we were losing but had plenty of time to get back into the game.
We sat back, refused to press and their keeper and defenders played keep ball.
It's as if we were playing for a narrow defeat.
Hodgson has one tactic - pray that Olise and Eze are fit.
