My Arsenal supporting brother seems to think benteke is in London to talk to them can't see it my self. If he did not suit Liverpools style of play he will definitely not suit Arsenals. I want him at palace so bad

the premier is not about 11 players. We are a classic example of that last season when we lost a few of our players to injury and tanked. If we get Benteke and another attacking midfielder who can score goals, and we don't lose any of our stars, then looking at some of the line ups that have been suggested we are going to have a squad where power is key. Benteke will be awesome for us where his strength and speed clearly aren't what Liverpool want. Lucky for us if we secure him. If we do and if we have a low injury season I'm thinking top 8.

My logical conclusin is that he will be sgning for Palace next week, and will join up with the squad on their return from the States

People concerned about the fee have to realise the new tv deal has been a game changer. Unfortunately it has meant player's wages will go up as will transfer fees. What should have happened is an agreement by prem clubs to invest it back in grass roots. But don't get me started on that. So, where the fee sounds ridiculous in the grand scheme of things it is relative to the huge amounts of cash swimming in the league. Well good news for anyone who follows the football whispers transfer site he's gone from 1.5 which is freezing cold to 3.1 (medium) his highest was 4.8 with 5.0 being highest so it seems something may be happening

He also stated Santon had agreed personal term's with Sunderland. Won't believe anything until club announce it. I'll still carry on checking various online sites, in the hope that someone knows something

Am I the only who isn't thrilled with Benteke. I think there a much better options available. For example Slimani or Ben Yedder. £31 million is too much. The only Dutch Palace fan??

I have just read he 'might be open' to joining Palace. I think this will go through when he really doesn't want it and Palace know this.
