We need someone with Premier League experience who can motivate a team to play above its level for eleven games. Not an easy task right now. Roy is too old. Big Sam anyone? Super Al? He lives locally. Not sure we can risk someone like Kompany even if we could get him right now.

Vieira was floundering parroting the same old mutterings 'we have to take our chances' etc - stating the bleeding obvious but with no idea how to make it happen. The squad has huge potential that just needs motivation. The endless promotion of Schlupp and Ayew was his downfall.
