Northerners are thick for sure. Some people truly are fick. I knew northerners would be like this. Lucky to live in areas with smarter or more educated people. Where are they from? Now this mixing is fine with me if you’re in a group of non vulnerable people and none of them mix with people who don’t who don’t who don’t. Many don’t because they have work and a few friends they’ve socialised during this. Then there will at some point be someone mixing closely with a vulnerable person. It really is for people to not do this rather than the government close the country down. Edited by Rudi Hedman (17 Oct 2020 2.56pm)

You actually made this point before with this link [Link] and it was certainly more of a mixed picture than how it was framed:
It's 100% relevant if it does offer a window where catching covid-19 could potentially be worse, though it would depend on how wide that window is and also catching the flu is no joke, so it's a judgement call. It's also worth noting that several studies do not reflect these hand picked ones you have applied your own narrative to. "In univariate analyses, no association was found between influenza vaccination and single virus detection of RSV, adenovirus, human metapneumovirus, human rhinovirus, or coronavirus. [Link] " so the jury is out. You appear inclined to curate, accept and push a stance that is incomplete or misleading, when you could instead weigh up, appreciate and present a more complete and accurate picture. The Rugby league challenge cup final between Leeds and Salford and the Merseyside Derby should keep it topped up with beers round friend’s houses. However, the positives have immediately started dipping. I wonder why? Run out of students? Edited by Rudi Hedman (17 Oct 2020 3.15pm)

It's no doubt viewed as the echo chamber under attack. What are you not understanding about what I've said? The poster stated that flu vaccines are 'useless, harmful and full of toxins'. I highlighted why that is an inaccurate view of them, and that if someone truly believes that, why exactly are people being vaccinated to begin with? Last time the answer from someone to that question was 'to chip people'.. a more tame conspiracy theory would be 'to encourage conformity'. I'm just wondering what conspiracy people are going to opt for this time.

Just because something isn’t effective at one thing it doesn’t mean it won’t be effective (making Covid worse it you get it) in another. I don’t have an opinion either way but for older people you should probably have the flu jab. What is more for certain, as ive said before, is that you will know if someone died because having flu made them weak and then they got Covid and died from it but you won’t know that someone died from Covid because the flu jab made them weaker. Have a lie down. And get over yourself. Jesus.

Take a breath and calm down. Nothing you've said above has the least bit to do what my reply to the poster and the effectiveness or otherwise of the flu jab. If someone states something that is inaccurate and ludicrous about how 'useless' the flu jab is, I am happy to correct that with a more complete take that covers the pros and cons. If that leads to you throwing your toys out of the pram about it, I can't really say that I care about that. Previously 'chipping' and 'confirmity' were stated reason by others for vaccination, and so I was asking him what his take was. So if you're going to pipe up in the conversation at least have something to say rather than a desperation to prop up certain outlooks. If you're only comforted by half complete tosh that supports your little coping mechanism, whine about it to someone else. Get a grip. Edited by BlueJay (17 Oct 2020 3.51pm)
