Shes a nurse or ex nurse and is 72. You assume that she was retired. You think she may put her mother in danger, assuming that she hasn't put in the safety systems. And you assume that she has not had a test to assess if she has the virus. Now though, with this arrest, we have a frightened elderly person, who is more likely to get infected due to the arrest, being taken back to be alone from her family, who she may never see again, and possibly infect the rest of the residents. You make a lot of assumtions but can't see anything other than her realising that she cannot cope. She was a nurse. How would she not cope?

| If the purpose of lockdown was to ensure the NHS doesn't get overrun. Currently, we have plenty of capacity of COVID patients whilst mental health services (amongst others) are completely overrun. Surely lockdown is having an adverse affect on the NHS rather than protecting it.

It seems that the daughter has power of attourney over her mother's finances but not her health. Which raises more questions. But my point really is, if you can look after your own family, you should be allowed to. If there are fees involved, even more so.
