I can't remember if we have 25 senior professionals if we don't and we still hold a player registration for him he will be in 25 same as Appiah last year

Speaking in general terms not specific to the players mentioned, sometimes clubs give new contracts for strategic purposes so that they would command a fee if sold rather than just being a 'Free' transfer at end of contract. Wouldn't mind seeing Delaney, Mutch, Kelly and Williams out. However I think we need to keep McArthur and Tomkins tbh, I guess that depends on whether they're happy to start less often than in they have done in previous seasons.
