Could it be possible that is was Judas Freedman who persuaded Burke to join Leipzig when we were after him before. Now we are supposedly asking him to persuade his to join us. I bet the lad is totally confused

And WBA won't go for Sakho if Wimmer goes to them or Evans doesn't leave. Of course, if he has a choice, he'll come here, but that's because he had a positive experience here, not because we're good at convincing people to join. We might as well try to get Bolasie back in the winter for 15.

I think we're going down this season because our chairman/owners are no longer willing to spend money. I also feel they're hoping to be ever so clever by waiting to see if FDB can somehow pull off a miracle by spending f*** all money and yet still keep us up. We won't. We'll go down and we'll deserve to either due to disinterest (see Parish being pre-occupied with karaoke and water ski-ing during pre-season) and or complacency. I really really hope Parish and the Yanks do sell up. And to owners who are willing to invest, not only in the team and squad but from top to bottom i.e. stadium, infrastructure, academy. I've already said a couple of times in this thread - why would we want Burke anyway? We have two excellent wingers so why would we spend £15m on an unproven Championship winger? West Brom can have him and we'll spend our money filling positions that need filling or strengthening.
