my boy let a pencil roll on the floor on Sunday morning. then, because I wanted him to do some work, he got ANOTHER pencil my sister had just bought him from her school trip, and he started banging it on the corner of the table. if that didn't break the lead, nothing will have. I mean...he knows I struggle with it, yet still he does it. why?

How can TV programs "grind anyone's gears" when everyone has the option to watch one of the many dozens of other programs on at the same time. I'm no fan of Ant & Dec so I don't watch them which means they don't annoy me and I don't think I've watched any reality TV shows at all so they don't annoy me either
