Todays first download is a recent set by Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters that was recorded at the Lollapalooza Festival, Chile on the 15th March 2015. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by RP & SSS over the last couple of years and this is another top boot for the collection. He performs some of his classic from his Led Zep days including "Black Dog", "Going To California" and "Whole Lotta Love". They are a little different from the well know LZ versions - but this is not LZ. If you like Robert Plant - grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. and then some!. Todays second downoad is a bootleg of unreleased and studio sessions by The Rolling Stones and Keith Richards. This boot is in superb quality with the audio being taken from the studio soundboard and it sounds fantastic. The Emotional Rescue sessions were recorded at Compass Point Studios, Nassau, Bahamas, January-February 1979 and Pathé Marconi Studios, Paris, France, June-October 1979 and the Undercover sessions at Pathé Marconi Studios, Paris, France, November 1982-mid-March 1983 and The Hit Factory, New York, NY, early May-early August 1983. Some of these tracks have never been released before and if you like The Rolling Stones - this is a must have.... Todays extra download is a set by Free which is in tribute to Andy Fraser the bands Bass player who died on Tuesday. This is a show recorded at the Bracknell Sports Centre, Berkshire on the 14th October 1972. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard - and for a boot thats over 40 years old the quality is unbelievably good. Some classics on this one like "Wishing Well" "The Hunter" and "All Right Now". If you like Free then download this show... Todays first download is a set by Jack White that was recorded at this years recent Lollopalooza Festival, Chile on the 14th March 2015. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboad and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of shows by Jack White over the years both solo as well as with The White Stripes. This is a top set which includes covers from White Stripes, The Raconteurs, Hank Williams. The set ends with the classic "Seven Nation Army" - a big hit for the White Stripes. If you like Jack White then download this one... This is thoroughly recommended... and then some. Todays second download is a set by Chic ft Nile Rodgers that was recorded at the Estival Jazz, Lugano, Switzerland on the 7th July 2012. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. A top set which includes the classics "Lost In Music" and the show ends with "Le Freak". The swiss dj's have a habit of introducing some of the tracks but they don't go over the music. I've posted a few Chich ft Nile Rodgers shows in the past - this is one I didn't have in my files. If you like Chic then download this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. and then some!.
