Todays first download is a set by The Allman Brothers band that was recorded in Baden-Baden, Germany on the 5th July 1991. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a TV soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by The Allmans in the past and this is another top show for the collection. The band line up is incredible - Dicky Betts, Butch Trucks and Warren Haynes all appearing. This is a great set and it finishes with the bands classic "Jessica" which some of you may know as the theme tune to "Top Gear". If you like The Allman Brothers Band - download this show... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is another set by the late Daevid Allen who passed away last Friday. This is a show he recorded at the Wetlands, New York on the 20th March 1991. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is a wicked show which features a whole mish mash of tracks from his long career, including a short track from Euterpe - a band he recorded a wicked mostly acoustic album with in the 70's called "Good Morning". It also has a strong Gong inclusion ending with the Flying Teapot Dance mix. If you like Daevid Allen, I thoroughly recommend this one.... Todays extra download is a set by The Charlatans that was recorded at this years BBC 6Music Festival in Newcastle on the 22nd February 2015. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard from a BBC webcast of the show and it sounds top notch. This is the first of (hopefully) many shows from this years 6music festival I will be posting. If you like The Charlatans then download this one... this sounds great and is thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a set by Family that was recorded at the Music Hall, Boston, MA on the 28th September 1973. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Broadcast on WBCN-FM and it sounds top notch. Bootlegs by Family in good quality are very rare - I only have a few myself, so I grabbed this one when I saw it. Some classics on this one including "Burlesque" and "The Weavers Answer". If you like Family then download this show... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays second download is a set by Saga that was recorded at the Stadssporthal, Sittard, Netherlands on the 28th October 1983. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted much by Saga over the years - only one other bootleg according to my files and no studio released stuff. This is a top show and the setlist is very similar to the official live released album "In Transit" which was released in 1982. If you like Saga then download this show - this is the mutts and is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Royal Blood that was recorded at the KROQ-FM Almost Acoustic Christmas Festival on the 13th December 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted many bootlegs by Royal Blood - they are a newish band and there's not that many bootlegs available. This is a good one and if you like Royal Blood then give this show a listen.. this is great stuff and is thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a set by Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds that was recorded at Le Zenith, Paris, France on the 12th March 2015. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard souce from a webcast and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by NGHFB in the past and this is another top additon to the collection. He plays a few from his Oasis days as well including "Champagne Supernova" and "Don't Look Back In Anger". If you like NGHFB then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM Broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted lots of shows by JT over the years of the mp3 thread - he always puts on a good show and this is no different. some classics on this one include "Too Old To Rock n Roll" and "Thick As A Brick".
