Todays second download is a set by The Waterboys that was recorded at the annual Pinkpop Festival, Netherlands in 1986. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set that was recorded and broadcast on FM radio. Some classics on this one from the bands album "This is the Sea"... a top notch boot that is thoroughly recommended ....... Todays extra download is a bootleg of studio sessions recorded between 1969-1970 by the legendary Jimi Hendrix. These are in superb quality for sessions that are over 40 years old. Buddy Miles and his band are jamming with Jimi on some of the tracks. I hadn't seen this boot anywhere before... and I didn't have the tracks on other boots... although just about every bootleg by JH has been released and released under loads of different names and with different artwork - it's hard to know what's what sometimes..... Todays first download is a set by The Byrds which was recorded in San Francisco in 1978. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set. The band play a good selection of their work including "Mr Tambourine Man", "Chestnut Mare", and ending with the classic "Eight Miles High". David Crosby joins the band for the last 7 tracks... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a fan made bootleg that consists of studio recordings by Rolling Stone Keith Richard. The first 9-10 tracks were recorded in Brookfield, Mass 1981(tracks 1-9) and New York City 1978 (track 10). The remaining tracks were recorded at Sounds Interchange Studios in Toronto, Canada on the 12th and 13th of March 1977 - just a couple of days after he was busted for drugs in Toronto. He was given probabtion and had to perform a charity gig in Toronto as part of his sentence....
