Todays second download is a superb set by former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett that was recorded in Cleveland, Ohio in 1981. This is in superb quality and is one of the best sounding bootlegs by Steve Hackett that I've heard. This is a wicked show but there are no tracks from his former band - this set is strictly his own work. A great version of Ace Of Wands on this one - this is a great show and is thorougly recommended. Todays extra download is a set by Alice In Chains that was recorded in Honolulu, Hawaii in January 1993. This is in superb quality and has been taken from the soundboard. I've posted a few boots by this band in the past - they rock, and this boot is no exception.If you like AIC then you'll want this one.... thoroughly recommended... Only a short set of 5 songs with an intro - but when you consider how rare this type of bootleg is - it's amazing. This is a must have - fact. End of..... Todays first download is a set by the Scorpions that was recorded at the the Sun Plaza Hall in Tokyo, Japan in 1979. This is in superb quality and is a top sounding show. I've posted many boots by the Scorpions over the years - this is another top soundboard bootleg. There are two versions of this show available - one has the ads and radio jingles included - this version has them omitted. There is an extra back cover in the artwork which show the tracklisting of the other version. If you like this band - this boot is thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a set by The Byrds that was recorded at the Ash Grove, West Hollywood, CA. in 1970 - the exact date isn't listed. This is in superb quality - for a boot thats over 40 years old, this is a top notch live recording - really good sound. A great show as well with some real classic played like "This Wheel's On Fire" "The Ballad Of Easy Rider" "Chestnut Mare" and a long version of "Eight Miles High". Good quality boots by The Byrds are quite rare - I've only got a few myself - this is one of the best sounding - thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by The Greg Kihn Band that was recorded in Santa Cruz, CA in July 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast. I recently posted my first boot by this band, I liked it - so I thought I'd check them out further and I downloaded this show... and I'm glad I did - this is a wicked show. Some great tracks on this including a few cover songs... but this band rock live - I will get around to finding some of their studio stuff at some point - in the meantime, this is just fine... thoroughly recommended...
