Todays extra download is a double by Manfred Mann. The first is from The Stanley Theater, Pittsburgh, PA in 1975 and the second is from the Pinkpop Festival, Geleen, Netherlands in 1977. Both are in superb quality and sound top notch. Some real great stuff on both of these shows - and if the seem familiar, they have both been posted before. I was asked for some MMEB and thought I'd keep the links and repost them.. If you like Manfred Mann's Earth Band them grab these - they are the absolute mutts... Here is the second part of todays Manfred Mann double. This is a show from the Pinkpop Festival in Geleen, Netherlands on the 30th May 1977. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I was recently asked for some Manfred Mann's Earth Band and thought I'd repost the links - this has been posted before, but a long time ago now.... Todays first download is a set by Jack White that was recorded at he Open'er Festival in Poland on the 4th July 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks of JW shows recently as he's doing the festival rounds. This is another top sounding boot for the collection which features tracks from The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and Dead Weather. He ends the set with the classic "Seven Nation Army". If you've grabbed any of the previous shows I've posted - then grab this one as well - this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays second download is one of the very few audience recorded bootlegs that I have posted. As you may know, I rarely post audience shows as they are usually crap recordings. This is one of the few exceptions to that rule and a show that sounds better than a lot of soundboards I've posted. This is a show by Pink Floyd that was recorded at the Sports Arena, Los Angeles on the 26th April 1975 while the band were touring in support of the "Wish You Were Here" album. The band start off with a few tracks from WYWH then go into some DSOTM before ending with the classic track "Echoes". This is a fantastic recording and one for any PF fan.. this is thoroughly recommended... and then some... and then some more... do youself a favour and grab this one.. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted - but not the first album as I've posted their first studio released album. If you like Dry The River - then grab this set... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Paul McCartney & Wings that was recorded at the Newcastle City Hall on the 10th July 1973. This is in superb quality and the audio for this show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This was one of Macca's earliest Wings shows and this features the hits "C Moon" "Maybe I'm Amazed" and "Live And Let Die". This show is wicked and sounds great and it's hard to believe it's 41 years go... If you like Paul Macca and Wings - this is thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds wicked. I've posted a couple of sets by Interpol already this year as they played Glastonbury and the Hurricane festival in Germany. If you downloaded either of those sets then grab this one as well... this is great stuff and is thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is only the second bootleg that I've posted by RD - and I've not posted any studio released albums!.
