Todays first download is a set by the Foo Fighters that was recorded at the Irving Plaza, New York on the 5th December 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. The Irving Plaza is a small venue that holds about 1000 people and they got a wicked show. The band played a set that lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes which included 3 top cover versions of songs by The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, and Queen.. also included is the live debut of "I Am A River". This is a top show and if you like the FF's you will definitely want this one... Todays second download is a set by Peter Frampton that was recorded at the PBS Studios, Chicago on the 18th January 2007. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds wicked. I've posted a few shows by Peter Frampton over the years - he always puts on a good live show and this is no exception. He performs the classics Baby, I Love Your Way and an 18 minute version of Do You Feel Like We Do. Peter closes the set with a wicked cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps. If you like Peter Frampton - this is thoroughly recommended. Todays extra download is a bootleg by Queensryche that has been put together by a fan, it contains live tracks from the bands album Empire. I have no other details except it sounds really great with the audio from the soundboard. All the instruments are well up in the mix on this boot and it really is a great set. Todays first download is a set by Family that was recorded at the Playhouse Theatre, London in November 1971 - the exact date isn't listed. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by Family over the years - the lead singer, Roger Chapman was once described as having a voice like an "electric goat" - that sounds about right. This is a cracking set though with the classics "In My Own Time" and "The Weavers Answer". Family shows in good quality are rare - so if you like Family, download this one.... this is thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is a set by Talking Heads that was recorded at the Westfalenhalle, Dortmund, Germany on the 20th December 1980. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of shows by Talking Heads over the years - this is another top soundboard bootleg for the collection. Some classics on this one include "Once In A Lifetime" and "Psycho Killer" - if you like Talking Heads then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by the Penguin Cafe Orchestra that was recorded at the Glastonbury Festival on the 26th June 1994. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by the PCO that I've posted, which surprised me - I thought I'd posted a couple of requests in the past.. but I cant see anything. If you know the Penguin Cafe Orchestra then grab this set - if you don't know them, give this one a try...
