Todays extra download is a short set by Emerson, Lake & Palmer that was recorded in Italy in June 1971 - the exact date and location are not listed. This is apparently an italian TV Special rip and it sounds fantastic considering the age of this bootleg. Early ELP stuff is very rare which is why I'm posting such a small show. The track Going To The Preacher is an early version of the song Tiger In A Spotlight. If you like early ELP then download this one... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by the Grateful Dead that was recorded at the Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, on the 11th January 1978. This is in superb quality and the audo for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by the GD over the years and this is another top sounding show for the collection. Some classics on this one include a wicked version of Terrapin Station. If youre a deadhead then download this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays second download is another set from the recent KROQ Almost Acoustic festival in Inglewood, CA and the set by Bush which was on the 13th December 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've only posted one other bootleg by Bush according to my files - a show that was recorded on Westwood One FM in 2000. This is something a little more recent and if you like Bush - this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by The Graham Bond Organisation. This is really a mix of Alexis Corners Streetwalkers and what was to become 2/3rds of Cream - Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce. This is a show recorded at Klooks Kleek Club in London on the 15th October 1964. For a bootleg thats over 50 years old - this is in superb quality. Shortly after this show the band split and Ginger and Jack joined forces with Eric Clapton and formed Cream. If you want a taste of what Jack and Ginger sounded like back then - grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended... and then some!... Todays first download is a set by Kevin Ayers & The Wizzards Of Twiddly that was recorded at the Cobra, Solingen, Germany on the 24th October 1995. This is in absolutely superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from a digital soundboard master - and it sounds fantastic. Pin drop perfect sound on this one. I've posted a few shows by KA over the years - but this is the best sounding of them all. The first part of the show is the Prelude - the second part the Acte Principal. This is great stuff and if you like Kevin Ayers you will definitely want this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. and then some!... Todays second download is a set by Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls that was recorded at the Brixton Academy, London on the 17th December 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM soundboard broadcast on XFM and it sounds top notch. I've posted at least half a dozen shows by FT & TSS in the last year or so - and this is another top sounding show. This has a Christmas theme to it as it was recorded as part of the XFM Winter Wonderland. If you like Frank Turner - then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is another set from the recent KROQ almost acoustic festival, Inglewood, CA on the 14th December 2014 - and the set by No Doubt. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted - they were formed in 1986 and are still going today... they did take a four year hiatus 2004 until 2008 but are now touring again. They started with singer Gwen Stefani and have released 6 albums and a whole load of singles - the most successful being the track "Don't Speak" which spent 16 weeks at #1 in the US. If you know this band and like them - grab this show... if you don't know them - give it a try... this is great stuff and thoroughly recommended. Todays first download is a set by Supergrass that was recorded at the BBC Maida Vale Studios, London on the 30th September 2002. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM Broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. I've only posted a couple of bootlegs by Supergrass over the years - one of which was the show at Reading recently. If you downloaded that one and liked it - then grab this one as well.. this is great stuff and is thoroughly reocmmended. According to my files this is only the second bootleg by Foxygen that I've posted - and Ive not as yet posted any studio released albums. Todays first download is a set by Sheryl Crow that was recorded at the Glastonbury Festival of Music & Arts, Pilton, Somerset on the 29th June 1997. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of bootlegs and albums by SC over the years on the mp3 thread and this is another top sounding boot for the collection. She includes her two biggest hit singles " Everyday Is A Winding Road" and "All I Wanna Do". If you like Sheryl Crow - then download this set - this is thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is a bootleg by jazz legend Miles Davis that was recorded at the Melbourne Concert Hall, Melbourne, Australia on the 2nd May 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show on ABC FM. I've not posted many shows by Miles Davis over the years but there has been the occasional show, but nothing for a long time now. If you like a bit of jazz then this is the one... a wicked set by Miles, who is joined by a host of top musicians. This is thoroughly recommended... and then some!...
