Todays extra download is a set by U2 that was recorded in Sao Paulo, Brazil on the 31st September 1998. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I was asked for some live U2 and decided to post this show... I must admit, I really do not like this band... However, just because I don't like them doesn't mean I won't post their stuff - I know a lot of people do like their stuff - so this is for you - it features a lot of their "Hits" like "Pride (In The Name Of Love", "Sunday Bloody Sunday", "Bullet The Blue Sky" and "Where The Streets Have No Name" all being played. Todays first download is a set by Billy Squier that was recorded in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1984 - the exact date and venue aren't listed. This is a cracking show though and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows and albums by Billy Squier in the past and this is another top sounding boot for the collection. Some classics on this one include "In The Dark" and "Rock Me Tonight". If you've downloaded any of the previous shows I've posted then grab this one as well... this rocks big time... Todays second download is a recent set by Interpol that was recorded at Fabrique, Milan, Italy on the 30th January 2015. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. The set contains a couple of interviews and encore breaks - which can be deleted if not wanted. Italian radio stations always have DJ's who always talk over the intro to songs.... they are awful. I've posted a few shows by Interpol in the part and a few studio released albums. If you've downloaded any of those - then grab this show as well.. If you like Interpol this is a good one!.. Todays extra download is a set by Jesus & Mary Chain that was recorded at two venues in 1986/87. The first part of the boot was recorded at The Roxy, Los Angeles, CA in 1986 and the second part of the boot was recorded at the Rockin' Umbria Festival in Italy on the 29th August 1987. Both sets are in superb quality with the audio being taken from an FM broadcast and the Soundboard respectively. I've not posted much by this band in the past - only one studio album according to my files. If you like Jesus and Mary Chain then grab this one.... Todays first download is a set by Scottish rockers Big Country that was recorded in Glasgow on the 4th July 1983. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few albums and bootlegs by Big Country over the years - but nothing for quite a while. Some great tracks on this one including their biggest hit "In A BIg Country". Todays second download is the first album or bootleg by this artist that I've posted - and I found that hard to believe... This is Kirsty MacColl and a set recorded at the Glastonbury Festival England on the 26th June 1992. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've posted Kirsty with The Pogues and other artists, but nothing as a solo performer. She performs only a short set of 4 songs including "New England" and a cover of "Train In Vain" by The Clash. If you like Kirsty then download this set... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a short bootleg by 30 Seconds To Mars that was recorded at the Rockpalast, Germany on the 6th February 2007. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a dvd audio rip and it sounds top notch. Only a short set of 4 songs which were all from the bands album "A Beautiful Lie" which the band were touring and promoting. I've not posted much by 30STM over the years - a few studio albums and a couple of other boots. If you've grabbed any of those then grab this set as well - this is great stuff and is thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a set by Canadian rockers Rush that was recorded at the Neil Blaisdell Center, Honolulu, Hawaii on the 25th November 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of bootlegs and albums by Rush over the years but I've not seen this show before. Some classics on this one including "Red Barchetta" "YYZ" and "The Temples Of Syrinx". Todays second download is a first for at least one of the artists... this is a show by Christopher Cross & Glenn Frey - I've posted a few shows with Glenn Frey in them but according to my files this is the first by Christoper Cross. Glenn Frey is a member of The Eagles and I've posted loads of shows by them. The same cannot be said for CC as I don't have anything at all by him. He's released 14 solo albums and a number of compilations and has won awards to film music. They both have a solo spot in this show with CC taking the first seven tracks - GF taking taking the rest with the final track together. The sound quality of this is superb and the audio has been taken from the soundboard. If you know CC and GF then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended... and then some!. Todays extra download is a set by former Yes frontman and vocalist Jon Anderson that was recorded with Icelandic musicians Todmobile in Eldborg, Iceland on the 15th November 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds fantastic - great quality sound. This is a single mp3 continuous file and not seperate tracks. but it's only 50 minutes long and contains 5 classic Yes tracks. If you like Jon Anderson and Yes then download this show as it's fantastic... Jon really lets rip on this one and his voice sounds great! This is thoroughly recommended and then some...
