All that aside Chelski, i thought we did well on Saturday , and with some sharper finishing could have got something from the game. Your view ?

Yes I agree. I thought you were actually unlucky not to get something out of the game. We lack the finisher to kill teams off but that said, you had good opportunities that were wasted

Is that the kind of "support" you normally get for your home games?

I think I heard your fans sing 2 or 3 songs all game whereas we carried on till the end.

Is is embarrassing your own manager clapped us away fans but didn't bother with the home fans?

None of the above. I'd be the first to accept that the atmosphere when we play the small teams isnt often good. We are expected to win and having experienced so many big games at the bridge playing palace isnt a big motivation for many fans. Of course for you it was a massive game! Atmosphere varies depending on the team and stature of the match. I am sure if you were to play your equivalent, of say, grimsby the atmosphere wouldnt be great either LOL

That statement tells me all I need to know about what Chelsea has become. I'm motivated to watch as many games palace play as I can. I don't select - I'm a fan and if my team are playing I will do my best to watch them. You also assume Chelsea away is a "massive game" for us. Why is that - because you're the mighty Chelsea? Not for me - you simply don't have the heritage of a Liverpool or Man Utd. You've got some great players and RA money has brought you success in recent years but, and I don't mean to be rude, you don't have any class. Our massive games are those we feel we can win to stay in this league.

Of course Chelsea away is a massive game for you. In fact a few seasons ago OVER 20000 turned up at your place for a pre-season friendly against, predominantly, our B team. That was your third biggest attendance for that season!!!!! LOL
No class?!?!? Well it was a pretty classy thing to play that friendly and give you the money because you were up 's***-creek without a paddle'. No heritage?!?! Werent our two teams founded in the same year??
Oh dear, someone else who speaks before they think!!

Oh dear, someone speaks before they think. That match was at Selhurst - not Chelsea away, so 20,000 fans turned up to watch their team at home play premier league opponents in a friendly. Oh, and our team were up s**t creek so maybe! just maybe! we were turning up to put money in our own clubs pocket and it wouldn't have mattered what premier league team it was? If you had class you would have played the first team. LOL

Read what I write more carefully. I said the game was at your place and if palace fans turned up to just help their club why weren't they turning up every week or in more important league games. No they turned up to see our b team lol great fans you have!!!

I think you're missing the point. I went to Chelsea because Palace were playing, not because it was Chelsea. That's why I've also just bought tickets to Villa away, and why I went to Stoke earlier in the season. It's why I have a season ticket instead of picking and choosing the games I like - I couldn't give a s*** who we're playing (let alone some wannabe glamour club who thinks paying a few blokes to wave flags a bit constitutes an atmosphere), I just want to watch Palace. Therein lies the difference between the two fan bases.

We are fans, you are customers. We are supporters, you are observers. I would quite happily end up back I'm the Championship if it meant we didn't end up like you, a Russian Oligarch's plaything with no soul.

If you are ALL fans and we are customers then why is it you attendances have increased so much this year? You are talking nonsense. Of course there are the die-hard fans at every club. People who go whatever the team they are playing (we had 5000 at Derby yesterday- great atmosphere). However, its foolish to think that palace fans dont pick and choose the matches they go to watch. I actually know of non-palace fans who have season tickets at your place to watch all the opposition!!
And for your fellow fans/observers to suggest that most of the 20000 at the pre-season friendly against us were not Palace supporters is really rediculous. Honestly, get a grip. Palace is no different to any other club in terms of fans v customers. Its just that you are on a smaller scale.
At the moment you rejoice and congratualte your world-wide support. The only difference between Palace and Chelsea is that everything for us is on a much bigger scale. We have a lot more local fans (note our average attendances in the 70's/80's and 90's compared to yours)and we have a much much bigger world wide support.
I recently meant someone from America who had been a Chelsea fan for 10 years after watching them on tour. They saved all their money for three years to visit and watch a game. They were as passionate as the next person. Yes, of course they didnt quite understand the cultural history of the club, but I for one, would not criticise their passion and devotion to the club. They are a different type of fan to me but they are still a fan and I would rather celebrate that then criticise it.
The money that Abramovich has put in has meant we have been graced with amazing players and terrfic success. The enjoyment Chelsea fans have experienced has been fantastic. Today we have Oscar, Hazard and Mata. Watching them play is a joy and I'd much rather that then the 'real football' in the Championship.

Each to their own. I would f***ing hate all that. I'd hate to have an owner who constantly sacks managers, I'd hate to support a club where the players think they are the most important part of the team, and I'd hate to be in a situation where we've had so much success that it doesn't even feel that good to win the cup any more.

Good luck to you. There is no correct way to follow football, and there is no moral highground. It's a sport at the end of the day and a selfish preoccupation for all of us.

I think we would all like a consistent manager, however, since 2001 we have had 11 managers and you have had 17 (although a couple were temporary)!!!!!!
Also Mourinho's philosophy is the team is more important than anyone so that arguement isnt correct either!!
I also never said it doesnt feel good to win a cup I just said it doesnt feel as good as the first time you win it. Clearly winning any cup is good but even if we win the champions league again I cant imagine it could ever feel quite as good as the first time we one it!!
