I don't want to pay for her funeral.

A lot of people don't want to pay for your pension.

Terms an conditions of employment. If you want me to sort out my own pension, give me a pay rise commensurate with the payments. Or don't you think those that work for the public should be looked after in old age?
Anyway, yer changing the subject.

Just heard Milliband, what a wormy c***, he should be unleashing the wrath on behalf of the millions who will never forgive her.

You should get the same state pension as the rest of us and your own personal plan if you want it.

Exactomundo....that's what the rest of us have to do.

Quote The Sash at 10 Apr 2013 10.29am

From Billy Bragg, Calgary, AB, Canada, on the death of Margaret Thatcher:

This is not a time for celebration. The death of Margaret Thatcher is nothing more than a salient reminder of how Britain got into the mess that we are in today. Of why ordinary working people are no longer able to earn enough from one job to support a family; of why there is a shortage of decent affordable housing; of why domestic growth is driven by credit, not by real incomes; of why tax-payers are forced to top up wages; of why a spiteful government seeks to penalise the poor for having an extra bedroom; of why Rupert Murdoch became so powerful; of why cynicism and greed became the hallmarks of our society.

Raising a glass to the death of an infirm old lady changes none of this. The only real antidote to cynicism is activism. Don't celebrate - organise!

Why, the teachers pension fund is in rude health.

It seems like people have run out of good things to say about Thatch, seeing as this has turned into a have a go at Gusset fest.
Poor debating skills and a lack of arguments always leads to personal attacks I've found.

I thought that was the first time he has sounded remotely statesmanlike.

Alan B'stard was the only Tory MP I ever liked.

Hurd wasn't too bad either

Agree up to a point Nick ,but you can be one of the worst perpetrators for this with your personal put downs & especially your spelling corrections. You can tell when your on the ropes as you resort to this tactic. I've seen other posters (alas not myself ) beat you to a pulp verbally and textually (is that a word?) and you then resorting to a aloof withering put down.....(quickly checks with Check)and corrects put down.......lighten up you old lefty sell the country pile in Chis buy 3 0r 4 2up 2 downs & join us!!!!
