Not sure why speculation is continuing regarding Adebayor when Pardew dismissed the rumours ages ago - Alan is not interested in him. incorrect
This is what I posted : "Pardew is now saying that Adebayor is "In the mix" and that generally Palace have to work within a small market" I certainly did NOT mention anything about been "Informed" about this so please don't allow scurrilous allegations to affect your judgement.

I have 2 major concerns in relation to Adebayor. Firstly as others have already stated his real fitness. Training with a personal fitness trainer is obviously no comparison to a week in, week out Prem game. Naturally he would of not wished to pick up an injury as there would be no chance of a transfer so how close is he really to proper fitness ? Secondly will he really be up for a fight if the above shows ? At Spurs when a new younger striker, Kane came on the scene did he try to fight for his place ?

I think Adebayor is out to prove that he can still cut it and wants to make a statement. If we get him on loan just to the end of the season and he puts a hatful of goals away for us that keeps us in the top ten it will be a job well done.

Wouldn't touch this guy at all he is not suited for Palace. Wrong atittude you can see he is not good for the dressing room and he is very lazy at times. The other thing is he wants a lot of money.

Spoke to a Man City fan at work, he said normally players that you dislike, when they come to your club, your opinion changes, he said with Adebayor that was not the case!
