The sun this morning are reporting this, how much truth there is to it well it's paper gossip. As gayle isn't playing and knows he's not near a starting spot and with Gomis apparently not wanted could this be viable ?

I think it makes good sense, as Gomis probably fits the profile of the kind of striker Palace needs more than Gayle

I wonder why swansea are near the bottom of the table. Maybe because of their ferocious fire power up front.

Yeah I think it makes sense both want out and Gomis is pards kind of striker it would seem. I'd imagine Gomis makes a good 20k a week more but straight swap why not.

Gomis has 5 goals so far this season in a crap team. I wish one of our strikers had scored that many.

I never believe these reports and they are a rarity, but, if true, Gayle could do a lot worse.

Yeah and when he's playing regularly he's good id rather a player with 5 goals the manager wants than one he doesn't, as much as I like gayle he won't get a chance.

Oh yes f***ing please. We get Gomis without paying money for him (thus bringing on a presently borderline but potentially excellent player for nothing) and remove a Championship standard player from the squad. I think I would splaff myself if this one happened. Edited by sydtheeagle (20 Jan 2016 9.16am)

Gomis & Adebayor we must be on to page 2 of our wanted striker list. I actually think a straight swap wouldn't be such a bad thing, both are looking for a move and if Gomis scored a couple of goals that would be amazing. Imagine that a striker scoring a couple of goals....perhaps one will be from open play
