Macron speaking recently.

Brexit is an entire distraction from the problems facing the UK, deliberate.

An entirely manufactured crisis.

Started by Mrs Thatcher after Lawson's failure, it became policy to divert blame to the EU (this is in the cabinet minutes).

It was so successful the UK have been living off it ever since, demonising the EU at every turn for its own failures,

Why do you always say you must leave at any costs, yet you have no idea what is to follow, it is because you have been brain-washed.

Looking back, when I re-visit all the disasters from Suez to Iraq and Libya, I was brain-washed too.

I'm not sure quoting Macron is the best way to put across your point.

Well it is about time you did as he is a senior European leader, you know them, over there, not the Conservative Party?

Hitachi have pulled out of a nuclear plant project on wales, 300 jobs to go and would meant potentially 9000 jobs in the future

This will impact on UK energy prices in the future.

The government were negotiating this project and no doubt the same idiots who will negotiate trade deals

Although brexit isn't mentioned, the timing of the decision does lead you to think it is a factor

Why should we take any notice of what France's hugely unpopular leader thinks

Every bit of negative news leads you to believe that it's Brexit related so why should this be different.

You are HOL's very own Project Fear Leader

How is it project fear?, this is a fact not scaremongering, but why now? You have to admit all the uncertainty with everything up in the air hardly helps

But what does it say about the future UK economy that a major investor, from outside the EU, pulls out and even writes off 2bn ? They're not the only ones, Mitsubishi pulled out of a similar project last year

That's a massive kick in the teeth before brexit had even happened

A 'senior' European leader with his country in flames and with poll ratings that make May look like Churchill.

It's looking increasingly evident that there will have to be changes in leadership in both the Tory and Labour parties for this absurd deadlock to be broken. May's 'deal' is unacceptable while Corbyn's intransigence is just inexplicable.

That's not a Brexit based issue.

Although, much of their own power is generated by nuclear, Japanese firms have a bad record in building power plants. In this case the private company has to pay for the clean up; which makes nuclear too expensive for the private sector.

Although, not a renewable with limited access to fuel; I'm afraid we need this and the other power station that construction ceased on, at least in the medium term.

No one has come up with anything better, they should back it now. To say we need to go back to the country because Parliament can't decide is ridiculous. If they can't decide, the default should be to back the Chief Exec.
