Here's you arguing against a people getting the chance to choose as to whether the EU rules them or not.

The EU 'rules us' - those clichés are 5 years out of date, most sensible people see through that bulls*** these days, only people still buying into that rubbish are the Gammon

Nice use of a racist term there.

Also PP, go onto the European Army thread and read my latest post there. If that doesn't prove how self deluded you are about the power plans of the EU I don't know what would.

What issues exactly is being in the eu causing 99%
Of the public.
Thats a question everyone should have asked themselves before voting.
I reckon many peoole couldnt answer.

It’s been gradual, although the open door policy from 2004 onwards wasn’t really gradual. If we dropped all those workers’ pay who’ve experienced that from mass immigration, and made it harder to find housing and all the other experiences with healthcare, schooling and went from reasonably easy to gain training or a start in a trade to almost impossible in one day you’d notice how it impacts your life or those close to you.

People haven’t noticed because it’s been gradual, but there are obvious effects that over one half of society have experienced the negative effects. I’m all for inviting all of the Mediterranean graduates into Britain to give them more of a chance in snapping up all the best jobs. See what the liberal etite’s offspring think about it then after years of call centre or supermarket work, if they’re lucky.

I’ve also wanted to see us branch out into more world markets without these punishing tariffs inside the EU. It’ll take years, but this is where this country should go. Germany have EU exporting covered, we should use our small business talent to grow this way, not relying on and inviting more and more large businesses in to milk the gravy train and pay people a p1sstaking salary because someone living 4 to a room or 16 to a 3 bedroom house can make it work. We’re creating this problem by allowing it to continue.

Those are big reasons why I voted, as well as self determination, which world markets and immigration are big details. I didn’t vote necessarily for me but for others and for the country. I fully expect some tough times ahead, but people are accepting these issues we never voted for and do not have to accept largely because, apart from being better or stronger together type nonsense because we’ll still part of Europe but not the EU, prices are cheaper and you’re led to believe employment is better because there’s bigger companies paying shyte wages. I do like what the EU introduced on workers’ rights from about 2002 onwards though. I remember hearing about agency staff holiday pay for example. Those are excellent, but forcing and bullying countries against the people’s will? Fvck off. We’ll still trade with each other and we’ll trade elsewhere as well, without being stopped or made too expensive this time.

Seriously......is this some kind of joke?

Immigration and freedom of movement.....It's changed the town I live in massively......A lot of the people who voted leave could see it coming to them.....So they took what little option they have.

There's also the question of parliamentary sovereignty from a developing superstate controlled by Germany and benefiting Germany's economy more than anyone.

There's also the question of protecting the state from an EU collapse far more than would be case otherwise......The Euro is already a s***eshow and the EU is hardly popular in Europe anyway.

How has it changed your town massively?

Well, the living space doesn't feel English anymore. The primacy of my own culture is no longer there in my own country.

Foreign shops opening up. Gangs of foreigners speaking whatever it is. Longer waits at the NHS and all the other infrastructures in town.

Maybe if your posts weren't full of tabloid clichés I'd give them more credibility

I bet he has more frustrated young people out of work or earning very little one either what they accept doing or hate doing because they can’t get into what they’d prefer to do because they’re not cheap enough or can’t get the experience the cheaper EU labour have.

If we all lived in overcrowded houses or were here for a few years it would be great, but we’re not. This is our home and it has to work as a home. There are other ways to run a country and not this way. The longer this goes on the more difficult it is to reverse, relying on the immediate tax gain, at a cost to the longer term health and prosperity of the country and citizens.

Even more pubs closing is another downside.

Invite millions of more intelligent Mediterranean graduates tomorrow. The views would soon change.

Well, the post is mostly quotes from EU members...including the top bod in the commission.

Yeah....I get it....It isn't about what the actual situation is....because reading that post would just be a direct rebuke of the post you made.

What's important to you is the political tribalism.

Your recent posts have demonstrated how bigoted you are.

The Essex countryside, although he did live in a trendy part of London, benefitting from the positives of immigration, which I agree there are.
