What is important is that freedom of movement ends and that we can make trade deals outside of the EU. The amount of money we are paying the EU has to be worth it.....otherwise...

You are a bit behind the times mate. Last 10 years our economy has tanked. Same period, Poland's has shot up by almost a quarter. The flow of Poles is by way of return if anything. Also, those who came and are here do overwhelmingly PAYE jobs and thus pay into our tax system and don't send money "home". certainly the Poles I know. They consider here to be their home. If you are saying that they are prepared to work harder than our home grown workers and for lower pay and this has caused 100,000s of people to feel resentment at the loss of opportunities and depressed wages, then there you may have a point.

I’m not surprised. The only way was up tbf. A quarter of not very much. Our economy hasn’t ‘tanked’ as you describe it, unless you basing it on a history of 10 years only. 2. I’m talking about returning home with their savings, rather than wiring money home. I e said in previous posts about how Polish families are making South Croydon their home, but there’ll be a fair amount of them that may return home. However, what about the many men living in one house to make the pay work, this driving wages down? I expect they’ll be taking their savings home where they can live without sharing with however many blokes. 3. Yep. Doesn’t affect me but I feel their frustration so I’m not a self interested voter.

From where do you learn this? Everything I have heard says the opposite When I contacted a wojewodzki urzad pracy to try to advertise for staff they wouldn’t help Poland is actively repatriating people. Pay in Warsaw is comparable with the UK now
