But you'd trade all that in because some people abuse it (0.3% of the budget when i checked). Don't we all lose then? Yes prescriptions are free in Scotland but not in England.

I think today it's a lot harder but how many people are still getting treatment they are not entitled to because they got onto the list when there were no proper checks and I doubt anyone is going to back check. With regard to your previous comment....Yes many do arrive and immediately ask for a house and money...but presumably you know better than me

I didn’t see a doctor for forty years who had English as a first language. Worked out well when one signed me off for a month because he didn’t understand what I had told him.
