The article was deliberately written to appeal to people like yourself who are so close minded that they aren't interested in any other viewpoint apart from their own.

Everyone has the right to understand the impact of a no deal Brexit but reading biased articles like that one won't help at all

This has been the problem with the whole Brexit affair.
There is virtually no unbiased information and no previous experience to draw on.

Which parts of the article specifically did you find biased?

Primarily the fact that it's all doom and gloom and painting a picture of the worst possible scenario which is typical BBC

But it isn't is it?

It's full of government statements about what to expect and how to prepare. It doesn't offer opinion.

Any picture it paints is an objective one. As such this is more like a photograph than a piece of abstract art which needs interpretation and can be seen by different people in different ways.

These are facts, not opinions and people need to start being honest about them and not trying to bury them under a "project fear" label and hope they will just disappear.

Be honest. If you are prepared to put up with the disruption and cost this will all result in, because you believe we will be better off eventually, than say so.

I agree no-one knows. Certainly not Bogus Johnson.

I don't think the DUP will break with the Tories but I do believe that there is likely to be a significant group of Tories who will put country before party at this time if a no deal outcome is the alternative.

I think there is a growing mood within Labour that they need to replace Corbyn if they are to secure power so don't be surprised if something happens in the coming few weeks to achieve that in time.

But I am only speculating too.

Don't you mean "themselves before country"?

So, there I have said it

No I don't because those that do will toe the party line and hope not to be deselected and lose their jobs.

Those that vote against the whip risk not only being deselected but having the whip removed.

Not all will be brave enough to do so, and they are the ones who will be putting themselves before country if they really are against a no deal exit.

What a refreshing comment at a time when so many others have already made their minds up that we are doomed, based on absolutely nothing but their existing prejudice.

My only complaint at the moment is that I'd like to see less photo opportunities of our Prime Minister holding chickens as it really isn't necessary

Isn't that what got us in this mess in the first place?

I don’t agree that it is though; that’s why I was asking about specific examples.

This board basically seems to be at the moment; I don’t agree with this article, it must be biased/fake news.

I mean, someone sent a BBC link the other day titled ‘Labour to back remain’ and said that was biased reporting - it’s bonkers.

Interesting to note there were only 3 countries that we export more to than we import from on that list

And two of those were non EU.

Europe has more to lose than us without a deal, however the difference is that their loss is spread over twenty plus countries and therefore will have less impact on any one particular nation.

It would be “unthinkable” if a no-deal Brexit was not followed by a poll on Irish reunification, the leader of Sinn Féin has warned Boris Johnson, also telling the prime minister that no one believed he was impartial on Northern Ireland.

Things warming up for the self-appointed 'Minister of the Union'....
