Yep Carney is abusing his role and being far too politically active. He has already been wrong on this topic and here he seems to be unnecessarily putting pressure on a political situation.

The reality that a 'no deal' brexit will have consequences for all affected economies has been known for years.

It is few people's preferred choice but this is where the remainers in the EU and parliament have led us.

They decided to make it stay or 'no deal' and that's what we are going.

Hey look everyone, I'm Mr Carney head of the BoE, NO deal and the economy "could" tank, yes that should help the situation.

I find it incredible that the blame for this mess is still being allocated to everyone except the people who campaigned for something that could never be delivered.

In fact, one of them has just been made Prime Minister.

If we want to talk about different tones and messages since 2016, I don’t think leavers have a leg to stand on.

The goalposts have been moved so many times I can barely keep up.

It won't be delivered with pessimism and a no can do attitude and that is firmly at the remoaners feet.

How would optimism and a can-do attitude solve the current deadlock?

It would be a positive not a negative so would be looking forward which would only help. Talk of emergency budgets straight after the vote is not helpfull as an example

Sorry, that’s not even close to an answer - you can’t really believe looking forward positively is a solution?
