No actual insult, just continual talking down to others..the 'Im better than you' sort of thing, you probably do it all the time, your sort of people do it without realising...lol

There are many posters here whose style I don't like at all, but I don't make comments about that because that's not the subject. I respond to posts and sometimes raise new ideas. How I do it isn't, in my opinion, really a matter that warrants distracting comment, but that's not my decision. Now if you really want to read some insults try rereading your last post. It doesn't bother me at all but as you seem a little fixated on them there's a real example.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

The suggestion about building on the green belt in the Croydon area was what you referenced and what I initially commented on as coming from NIBYs, which locally has no chance of being taken seriously. Which is true.

You then switched to another report in Birmingham which made some different points, which I responded to by saying that different situations demand different solutions. Which is true.

It's also true that there is no overall threat to the green belt but as the demand for housing increases it would be silly to adopt a totally inflexible position but keep an open mind and revisit decisions made decades ago if to do so makes sense.

I don't have an "immigration policy"! What on earth are you talking about. All I am trying to do is point out what is pretty obvious if you step back from all the emotion and hype surrounding Brexit. Which is that immigration is unlikely to be significantly impacted as a consequence. Politicians make claims and no-one will know the precise result until it happens but logic and history suggests your claims are well off the mark. Indeed if half the things predicted by the ultra leavers about the way our economy will react to being "free" of the EU then we will require an increase to immigration to cope with the demand for labour.

Your idea that my "policies" are ruining our country is completely nuts. I don't have any "policies"! I am not in government. I am responding to events. It is simply my belief that if we cannot remain within the EU, which was my preference, then the minimum we must seek is to negotiate as close a working arrangement with them as is possible. So avoiding a "no deal" Brexit is the first priority. Once done we can look at what the next options are.

Whether you think my, and my grand kids, views are "wrong" is of no consequence. What matters is what actually happens and that is still all to play for. Whose argument wins, or loses, won't be known for the next 10 or 20 years.

Your talking nonsence, you want to remain in the EU which will be to keep to their rules of free movement. We voted leave because we looked outside our bubble and knew 10-20 years ago we will have to many people.
No surprise we have to many people! Your lot got it wrong and we and your grandkids are paying the price,

To many people = low wages , high house prices, pressure on services. We all knew this but you are too blind to see it.

Be the man and admit mass immigration has caused problems

Well, I posted that on purpose, just to show you how blind you can be when it comes to posting insults (which you do all the time) Hence the lol after the comment. How is what I posted any different to that which you posted ?' People like you', one of your favourites, is no different to 'your sort of people'is it? Be honest wissy, if you dont like it, why should others??

I don't just deny that "mass immigration" has caused problems I deny that there has been "mass immigration". It's a term that is thrown out in the right wing press far too easily but "mass" to me means huge, overwhelming numbers and I just don't think is true. Yes, since WW2 we have witnessed various waves of immigration and since the accession of the eastern European states increasing numbers. The biggest issue is not the overall numbers but the fact that the newcomers seem to have been concentrated in specific areas.

That I originally voted to remain, and continue to believe it would be, on balance, better if we did so, doesn't mean I am blind to these issues. I just think they can be handled with us inside as they are not for me an overwhelming issue. Others are more important.

My grand kids will pay the price if we leave. Like many young people they have spent a lot of time in other parts of Europe, regard themselves as European and work for businesses with strong connections in Europe. They have friends all over Europe and my daughter thinks nothing of flying to Berlin for a long weekend with her old work mates there.

Balancing our need for immigration with the level of the number of immigrants actually arriving is a real issue which will need to be addressed whatever the outcome of the present hiatus.

No problem at all with either "people like you" or "your sort of people". Neither are insults, both are simply observations. So check your post to see if you can see where the actual insult was!

As I told you I don't care two tosses about being insulted. It's you who are making the fuss about it. I care about important issues, not what people think about me on here.

Sorry to disappoint you.

It doesn't make me the least bit happy that someone else has done this. All I am doing is responding so that what I regard as untruths don't stand unchallenged. Remember the old adage that:- “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” It might not be directly applicable but I am sure you get the drift.

Your deluded and not worth further discussion and have shown everyone on this forum how stupid you are.

This is not right wing press this is the left labour home secutary.
"The last Labour government predicted that only 13,000 would move to Britain from Poland and other eastern European countries after 2004."

Us leavers knew all this and it has carried on with hundreds of thousands a year for 15 years. You are literally in a bubble.

Nuts.

Well perhaps she should think about her kids futures and not contribute to Climate Change

You are entitled to that opinion. Just as I am to mine which is that I have just stated an alternative way of viewing what has happened. I won't though join in the insults.

I know this history and the political statements of regret. That though doesn't add up to "mass" immigration does it?

Us leavers knew all this and it has carried on with hundreds of thousands a year for 15 years. You are literally in a bubble.

No you don't. You are making a mountain out of a hill. I recognise it's bigger than a molehill but you are attempting to turn it into something it isn't and what's more important is that it won't be that much different whether we leave or remain in the EU.

Nuts.

If you are referring to yourself then I reluctantly have to agree with you.
