FFS Matt you need to get yourself down the head clinic while it's still Free At The Point Of Use.

A few years down the line after BREXIT kicks in and we have a USA style health service, honestly, if any of those insurance companies see your comments on this site; your health premiums are going to go through the roof - in which case I hope you are a Stockbroker like privately educated, millionaire, working class, salt of the earth, Nigel.

Also don't you find it a little bit iffy that in terms of the "Taking Control" narrative, the PM May refusing to make her statement about the future of Great Britain - actually lets say little England and smaller Wales as the Scots will be off - to an elected Parliament, but is off to the DAVOS world Forum to explain it?

That will show the the pesky establishment what is what.

Now the Press are pretty much telling you what you want to hear and on your side; but don't forget hardly any of the owners of the Press actually live here, so the risks aren't theirs. Only the benefits of Tax Haven Little UK PLC. If it goes pear-shaped - they just continue not to live here.

Get some insurance sorted pronto is all I can, Matt. Palace fan in peace.

If you look through history, the way in which humanity has developed is through trade, entrepreneurialism and taking risk.

No society has flourished through socialism.

This is not because of the 'right wing media conspiracy', as no such a body existed in the Soviet Union, Pol Pot's Cambodia or in modern day North Korea or Cuba.

It is simply because human nature is defined as survival of the fittest.

Humans need to care for humans. That is why we encourage charity work, community work and mentoring.

However, the type of manufactured bulls*** you stand for is a simple attempt at a power grab that would result in a loss of hard fought for freedoms, a lot of deaths (socialism is good at that and even beating fascism hands down in body count), the ceasing of human development and a punch drunk culture of impassioned inaction.

You can chuck all the 'humanity' digs at me as you wish but I will stand by my view that the likes of Nigel Farage have achieved more for the common man than Jeremy f***ing Corbyn ever will.

Keep living in la la land if you wish to. Right wing heroes like Nigel have won that right for you.

Well the current Health Secretary has openly expressed the desire to privatise the health service.

So the Brexit government could definitely move towards privatisation. But then ironically by leaving the EU (and the collapse of the US/EU trade deals) we could have made it less inevitable, as being open to privatisation would have effectively been enforced.

Odd.

Certainly there is no shortage of proponents of privatisation in the current Tory party. And Nigel Farage also openly expressed that he was in favour of privatisation (although he then tried to backtrack and claim he never said things he was on record saying).

In that very same Indy article, Hunt denied ever having had anything to do with the chapter about the NHS.

Fair point But he has looked at privatisation of NHS Professionals so it is a bit of a stretch for him to claim to not be in favour of privatisation

For the last time dear, Nigel Farage is not the government and has no control over health policy.

Why does his name keep coming up when government policy is mentioned? Lazy labelling and scapegoating by the left, per chance?

There is nothing wrong with privatisation of the NHS, both Germany and France have incredible health care systems, that are privatised, available to all citizens and provide arguably a better system and service than the NHS.

The important factor isn't whether something is run by the state or by private enterprise, but how its regulated, controlled and devised. Indeed, the French and German system, produce better value and service for their citizens, than the NHS and US systems.

The problem of the UK is that we tend towards US style privatisation.

Where did I ever say he did "dear"? Plain lazy contribution from "the right"
